The Foundation for Living Medicine promotes education and cutting-edge medical research that will contribute towards making Tomorrow's World much Healthier Today! Accordingly, through The Best Medicine of Tomorrow-Today Lecture and Movie Series, the Foundation intends to present up-to-date information about many of these cutting-edge integrative medicine modalities to the Living Medicine community.
Healing through sound and music therapy is a cutting-edge area of science today. Therapeutic ultrasound is already a popular medical modality for treating areas, such as kidney stones, tumors and cancer. And now, new research is exploring how sound therapy can positively alter brainwave patterns. Therefore, we have chosen "The Healing Power of Sound" to be the theme for the 2016 Best Medicine of Tomorrow-Today Lecture and Movie series.
On April 23, 2016. Singers Steph Carse and Renee Morgan Brooks discussed how they use their musical talents to inspire and heal others. Each artist discussed their musical talents and entertained the audience with solo and joint performances.
2015 Lecture Series Summary is below:
